Chocolate Ganache








Ingredients:
  1. Semi sweet chocolate chips - 3 cups, 18oz
  2. Thickened cream - 300gms

Method:
  1. Heat cream till it starts to bubble from the sides of the pan
  2. Pour hot cream over chocolate chips and keep it closed for 5 minutes
  3. Gently stir the chocolate chips in cream till it is smooth and shiny
  4. Keep it in room temperature overnight so that it is thick enough to be applied as frosting on the cake.

Note:
Chocolate Ganache can be stored in fridge for future use.
Let it reach till room temperature before using it

Lemony White Chocolate Frosting



This is a white chocolate icing with no butter in it. It can be used for cakes, cup cakes etc.


Ingredients :
  1. White chocolate chips - 3 cups
  2. Lime juice - 2 tbs
  3. Greek yogurt - 2 tbs

Method:
  1. Melt white chocolate chips using double boiling. 
  2. Stir in between to get smooth melted chocolate
  3. Once chocolate is back to room temperature, add lime juice and yogurt to get smooth shiny chocolate icing
  4. Pour it over the cake when the icing is still in room temp


 
Enjoy the lemony white chocolate frosting. !
In the picture above, I have used it on a thin butter cake. And the decoration is done with dried rose which is supposed to be used for making Rose tea.
