Yummy Pizza!

Juicy Yummy Easy Vegetarian PIZZA!!!

Ingredients
For Topping
  • 10 thin slices of Brinjal
  • 2tbs Cubed Onion
  • 2 tbs Capsicum cubed
  • 2 tbs chopped coriander leaves
  • 4 tbs Mozzerella Cheese shredded
  • salt to taste
  • 1 tsp chilli powder

Pizza Sauce
  • 2 big tomatoes
  • 2tbs chopped garlic
  • 1 greenchilli
  • salt to taste
  • 1tsp dry oregano
  • 1 tbs oil

Pizza dough
  • 3/4 cup self raising flour
  • 3/4 cup plain flour
  • salt to taste
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tsp dry yeast
  • 1 tbs sugar
  • 2 tbs oil

Procedure




Pizza dough
  • Mix dry yeast, sugar and warm milk in a mug and keep aside for 5 min.
  • Take a non stick pan which has a thick lid.
  • Mix both flour and salt in the pan.
  • Add the bubbled yeast-milk mix( yeast-milk mix will bubble and rise within 5 min) with the flour mixture and make the dough. Add oil also in the dough and also cover the dough with oil.
  • Flatten the dough with fingers in the pan to cover the bottom of the pan and keep aside for 30 min.

Pizza sauce
  • Puree tomatoes along with salt, green chilli and garlic.
  • Saute the puree with the oil till it reaches a sauce consistency and take off from the flame.

Topping the pizza.
  • Marinate the brinjal slices with salt and chilli  powder and keep aside for sometime.
  • Drain out the water from brinjal slices using ur palm.
  • Roast the above slices in a roasting pan with little oil.
  • Press light the dough with fingers.
  • Spread the sauce on the dough.
  • Place the roasted brinjal slices on top of the sauce spread.
  • Place onion, coriander leaves and capsicum on pizza and spread the shredded cheese above that. You can change the amount of cheese according to your taste. i have used it lavishly as i love cheese.
  • Close the pan and cook it on stove for 8-10min in mininum flame. Make sure NOT to increase the flame as it will burn the pizza.

    Crust raised but I think would have been much softer if my yeast was good
    But overall good
    Will try again
