Ingredients:
- Coconut shredded - 5 tbs
- Dried green peas - 1.5 cups
- Oil - 1 tbs
- Mustard - 1/2 tsp
- Curry leaves - few
- Salt to taste
- Kuruma masala - 1 recipe
Directions
- Soak dried green peas overnight
- Cook green peas in pressure cooker
- Heat 1 tbs oil in a pan
- Splutter the mustard seeds and curry leaves in the oil
- Make a paste of shredded coconut
- Add Kuruma masala and coconut paste to the oil
- Mix well and cook
- When oil seperates, add cooked green peas
- Add salt and enough water to reach the consistency you want
- Cook for 5 more minutes and take off from the flame.
Green peas kuruma is ready to be served.
