- Onion sliced - 1.5 medium sized
- Tomato chopped - 1medium sized
- Oil - 1 tbs
- Garlic chopped - 1 tbs
- Ginger chopped - 1 tbs
- Fennel seeds ( perunjeerakam)- 1 tsp
- Green chilli - 1
- Coriander powder - 1 tbs
- Chilli powder - 1 tsp
- Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
- Garam masala - 1/2 tsp
Directions
- Heat the oil and add fennel seeds
- Add green chilli, ginger and garlic and sauté for 2 minutes in medium flame and make sure it doesn't burn
- Add onion slices and sauté till golden brown
- Add tomato and ingredients from 8 to 11
- Close the lid and cook till tomatoes are well cooked
- Put off the flame and make a paste of the mixture
